Announcement to the non-NRO-Member Users of the NRO facilities
- When you publish the results obtained for observations at NRO in scientific journals and conference proceedings, please note the following points.
(1) Add the following sentences in the paper.

based on observations at the Nobeyama Radio Observatory (NRO)
(in the footer)
Nobeyama Radio Observatory is a branch of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, National Institutes of Natural Sciences.
(or in the footer or aknowledgement, if only telescope name is appeared)
The 45-m radio telescope (ASTE or NMA) is operated by Nobeyama Radio Observatory, a branch of National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.
When you publish your studies using the ASTE telescope before March 2012, please state the following sentence in the acknowledgement:
The ASTE project driven by Nobeyama Radio Observatory (NRO), a branch of National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ), in collaboration with University of Chile, and Japanese institutes including University of Tokyo, Nagoya University, Osaka Prefecture University, Ibaraki University, and Hokkaido University.
- This may not be applied strictly depending on the page limitation or the journal editorial policy.

(3) We highly recommend to publish preprints in the series of 'NRO reports'. Detailed information is given here.

- 1. Even though no NRO member is included in the authors, a paper based on the results obtained from observations by using NRO facilities is counted as a 'result of NRO'.
2. In case no NRO member is included in the authors, NRO will not pay the page and reprint charges of a paper.
