Let's correct observational positions of your data
obtained with BEARS

[Spectrum: Pos. Correct]



This TASK corrects observational positions of your data obtained with BEARS. This operation is necessary, because observed positions with BEARS are distorted from the regular grids due to the nature of beam transmission system of the 45 m radiotelescope. This TASK is recommended to be applied to data obtained with Nyquist sampling.

* NOTICE:
Input file will be overwritten, if you do not open a new output file.



* USAGE:
1. Starting Pos. Correct
Click [Pos. Correct] on Button Panel. The following parameter window appears.

2. Setting up parameters
  1. Type in "File Name (INPUT)" or select a file from [File List]. Usage of [File List]
  2. Type in "File Name (OUTPUT)", and set extension to 'BPOS3'.
  3. Set "Open NEW File" to 'YES'. Otherwise the input file will be overwritten.

3. Execution
  1. Click [Exec] on the menu bar, and select [Activate program] from the pull-down menu.
  2. This TASK ends with the message "Appears to have ended successfully" in the message window.
