If you want to check whether your scan table is what you intend to make, a python script
obspoint.py
is useful (especially for OTF and Multi-Point scan).
-
After Generate & Send your Observe Table (i.e., after all procedure for making observing scripts), type at the prompt
> obspoint.py
-
GUI will be shown.
Enter the project name where you made the Observe Table and click OK button.
-
The script lists Observe Tables in your working directory.
Search and select the Observe Table which you are going to check the scan pattern.
-
Check your scan pattern.
The unit of X and Y axes is arcsecond.
The origin is the source coordinate defined in Source Table.
